PREMIERE: PIETÀ

a new one-act opera

Following the laurel-winning release of the Pietà documentary, the opera in its intended form debuts onstage at The Narnia Festival in Narni, Italy. As designed, it is paired with Puccini's Suor Angelica, taking that opera's lead antagonist La Principessa as its subject. The double bill is directed by Pietà co-librettist Andrea DelGiudice.
